~ The Pipettes ~

 One of the most entertaining bands I have listened to in a long time. Reminiscent somewhat of the Grease era they have produced a rich collection of dancy, catchy pop/indie that leaves you wanting more! With their last show date in America tonight they will soon be frolicking off to Japan and Australia – I can only hope that its not too long before they return triumphant to the UK. It’s nice to see a band with talent who are so obviously happy to be alive and determined to have a riot on their ditzy way through the indie maelstrom. They have a nice collection of songs on their myspace, including the classic ’Pull Shapes’ and ‘Your Kisses Are Wasted On Me’ although ‘ABC’ also deserves a mention.
